Who We Are...

IMPERIUM is the global on-line gaming community of which multiple games are supported under; including AION Online, Guild Wars, Eve Online, Warhammer Online, etc.. Each of these games operate divisions within the IMPERIUM community - each known as a guild. Any guild we formally create and operate within these games are called "LaZy NATION".

LaZy NATION is a competitive and successful force wherever it operates:

*  Hardcore in our approach; we play every game to its fullest with the determination to compete and win.

*  We are casual and open in our environment and friendships.

*  Our players focus on quality: being the best they can be in any game they play.

*  We Raid, PvP, PvP, RvR, RvRvE, and PvE

*  We are home to the most technically advanced players and the more casual players.

*  We understand the demands of real-life and the restrictions adults face in having "game time".

*    AION (Asmodean Race with 3 legions!) [Lumiel Server - North American Client]

*    Eve Online

*    Guild Wars (Luxon) [North American] Multiple guilds in an all-LaZy alliance

*    Warhammer Online (Order - Volkmar Server) [North American]

Its About Community

Community in - drama out.  That is our primary focus.  We are home to hundreds of players from around the world; free of racism, sexism, ageism, etc..  Our values are based upon respect for the individual.  Within our community, our Code of Conduct ensures that we maintain a drama-free zone for adults who wish to escape real-life and simply game.  It's about gaming, making friends and accomplishing your goals in the game you play.  We are primarily an adult-community, 18+ for membership.  We are not here to discuss real-world events, politics, religion - we are here to game.  We respect everyone's opinions - even if they differ with our own - but our focus is to play games and have fun.   

Much of the success in the creation and operation of IMPERIUM has been the focus on strong player values and as a gaming community operating as a family. The community is built upon the principles of competitiveness, equality, diversity, fairness, respect and opportunity for all. In every sense; it is very much a large family. Emphasis is placed on building relationships, developing friendships, trust and respect for the individual. Beyond that, we like to have fun! We enjoy grouping together, helping each other with quests, and establishing the LaZy name as a power house wherever we game. Our Ventrilo server is an essential part of our game play, not only does it help with game play but it also provides a great place for our members to just hang out and relax. IMPERIUM offers a robust infrastructure to its members including an extensive portal and forums area for its website.

Blazing a new concept and redefining the term "community"; LaZy has gone to achieve many notable accomplishments including:

*  LaZy NATION has received repeated recognition and accolades by ANET and NCSoft; the developers of Guild Wars

*  We have been featured by industry-leading magazines; including Becketts Massive Online Playing Magazine

*  We were featured in 2007 by AMD/ATI Technologies in their website gaming article "They put the [Guild] in Guild Wars"

*  LaZy dominated in RvR for Warhammer Online; playing ORDER on Azazel and Volkmar
 

 Our History: 3 Years of Excellence in Gaming

LaZy IMPERIUM, a United States-based global gaming community, was founded in July, 2006, initially as a small guild within the game of Guild Wars.  The leader, Araliun, sought to overcome limitations in the game which prevented "a global community of players coming together to experience more fun and excitement in teaming together to improve the overall experience and quality of game play".  His vision was to create a single mega gaming community sharing the same vision, values, principles and dedication to improving the experience through member interaction.  Araliun's vision was defined in a simple phrase:   "One Dream, One Nation, One Vision".

Araliun went on to accomplish his dream by creating and building the game's first true "mega-alliance" in which 10 guilds, filled with 100 members each, sharing the same name unified together to become one.  His vision was achieved and his success would lead to over 24 guilds baring the LaZy name.  In recognition of this achievement he branded the community "LaZy Imperium", with members of the community opting for the more simpler and affectionate term "LaZy NATION". 

Looking towards the future, Araliun came to realize that the gaming experience was not based upon the game one played but the friendships made along the way.  As friends moved onto other games they were left with the decision of having to leave the LaZy community.  To retain the friendships, and build further upon the community, Araliuns sought to expand his gaming community further by adopting other MMO titles, providing each his unique vision of community gaming and guild management.  As the LaZy community grew its name was changed to become IMPERIUM in recognition of multiple MMO gaming titles supported by the community.  In recognition of the love and devotion the members have of each other, the pride and love they share in their community and in recognition of its past, any game where IMPERIUM exists and operates, it’s guild in those games are named "Lazy NATION".

When You Join Our Community

When a player joins our community, no matter which game, they are automatically entitled to participate in any game in which we operate. We are proud not only of our guild, but of the individual players that give it their LaZy love and make it a great place to be.
